Saturn Cafe located in the lovely Santa Cruz, CA is the spot to go! Saturn Cafe is definitely a local spot to hang out at! Originally opened in 1979 Saturn Cafe is definitely the place to be! With plenty of places to shop you have a Vegetarian&Vegan friendly spot to eat at after a day of spending! Saturn Cafe is dinner with a twist! Meat eaters and Vegans alike will find that ANYTHING on their menu is going to be hearty and fulfilling!

My ultimate favorite has to be their steak fry nachos! Did I mention their steak fries are Award Winning!!!?? Yummy, gooey, melted (vegan) cheese, with whole black beans, spicy jalapenos, fresh guacamole, green onions and drizzled with fresh (vegan) sour cream! OMG! You can't go wrong with some fries like that! A vegans wet dream!

Fries aren't for you? Or you want a real meal? Can I recommend their "chicken" avocado club? Stacked mile high with a layer of lettuce, fakin' bacon, "chicken", and smoked Gouda cheese (vegetarian friendly but vegan no-no) just to be layered one more time in-between another fine piece of bread.... you CAN'T go wrong! It's filling and delicious. The Gouda is wonderful and smokey,the fakin bacon is salty and adds a crunchy texture, the breaded chicken is surprisingly moist, and the avocado adds a delicious combination with the (vegan) "mayo". The entire sandwich is a beautiful mess. Definitely a handful!

My mouth is watering and my tummy is grumbling so for this amazing feast at Saturn Cafe! They never disappoint! With their eccentric staff and crazy decor they're sure to please and even amaze newcomers.
